Job summary

Yaamava' Resort & Casino at San Manuel is seeking a Cigar Sommelier to develop and manage a world-class cigar program across assigned venues. You will curate premium cigars, provide expert pairings, and train staff to enhance guest experiences.

Responsibilities include overseeing purchasing, inventory, storage, and regulatory compliance while driving revenue through promotions, events, and stellar service. This role requires leadership in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality, Business or related field.
• Minimum six (6) years of cigar-related experience in luxury hospitality or cigar program management.
• Minimum two (2) years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Certified Cigar Sommelier credentials preferred (IACS, CCST, or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Lead cigar education training programs for team members aligned with brand standards.
• Manage the cigar program including purchasing, inventory, and cost control.
• Maintain cigar storage, inventory records, and vendor relationships.
• Develop cigar-focused guest experiences and promotions, monitor humidor conditions.
• Perform other duties to support department operations.
