Job summary

Catawba Two Kings Casino in Kings Mountain, NC seeks a Retail Manager to lead daily store operations, merchandising, and guest service for a high-end casino resort retail environment.

You will oversee categories from artwork to branded merchandise, coordinate with the Cultural Center on displays, and manage inventory, pricing, and vendor relations while developing staff and ensuring a premium guest experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of retail management experience in casino/resort or high-volume retail.
• Experience managing sales goals, inventory controls, shrink, merchandising, and team leadership.
• Experience with high-value or luxury retail merchandise preferred.
• Pre-opening experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily retail operations including guest service, merchandising, staffing, and financial performance.
• Oversee product categories such as artwork, cultural merchandise, sundries, grab-and-go items, beverages, and branded gear.
• Maintain a clean, stocked, guest-ready store aligned with 4-star casino resort standards.
• Coordinate with the Catawba Cultural Center on merchandise and displays.
• Manage inventory counts, pricing, receiving, and vendor follow-up.
• Hire, train, schedule, coach, and manage retail team for service and sales.
• Ensure proper use of POS and inventory systems and secure handling of high-value merchandise.
