Job summary

Embassy Suites Washington D.C. Georgetown is hiring a restaurant busser to keep dining areas prepared, tables set, and service flowing throughout all hours. You will assist servers, refill beverages, and help maintain a clean, welcoming dining environment for guests.

Ideal candidates have a high school degree or equivalent and 1–2 years of experience in luxury or high-volume dining. Flexible to work AM/PM shifts, weekends and holidays; background checks apply.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent or relevant work experience.
• Experience providing excellent service in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to work AM/PM shifts, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dining areas before guests are seated.
• Set tables with napkins, linens, and silverware.
• Place tableware on tables and serve water.
• Refill beverages and manage removing dirty utensils.
• Clean and reset tables after guests leave.
• Maintain health and safety in kitchen and dining areas.
• Assist servers and hosts when necessary.
• Keep lounge and restaurant areas neat and orderly.
• Assist in checking tables for cleanliness and supplies.
• Sweep or mop restaurant areas at end of shift.
