Job summary

Tempur Sealy International, a leading bedding designer, manufacturer, and retailer, is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales in a store environment. You may step in as part of management when the Store Manager is unavailable, including opening or closing the store and handling duties as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma, 1–3 years of retail experience, strong consultative sales skills, and the ability to lead and train staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–3 years of retail experience preferred.
• Strong sales skills in a consultative environment are needed.
• Ability to lead, direct, and train others in a store setting.
• Proficiency with current retail software and systems.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift items as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing overall store performance.
• Lead in all areas of the sales process and maintain brand standards.
• Continue to perform Retail Sales Associate responsibilities at a high level.
• Assist Store Manager in identifying deficiencies and solving problems.
• Support merchandising and company program implementation.
• Handle larger issues or escalate to Store Manager as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
