Job summary

Tempur Sealy is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to deliver exceptional customer service while selling Tempur-Pedic products. This role may involve opening/closing the store and stepping into management duties in the manager's absence, with a total annual compensation range of $40,000–$60,000.

The position emphasizes leadership in the sales process, professional store presentation, and adherence to company programs and policies, while supporting merchandising and customer satisfaction goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years’ retail experience (or equivalent) with high-end luxury and/or custom products.
• Strong sales skills in a consultative environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, direct, and train others in a store setting.
• Fluency with current retail software / computer systems.
• Flexibility in work schedule reflecting store hours.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift items as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and maintaining responsibility for the overall performance of the store.
• Provide leadership in all areas of the sales process, including customer service and care, maintaining a professional appearance, and adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Continue to perform all Retail Sales Associate responsibilities at an exceptional level.
• Assist the Store Manager in identifying deficiencies and solving problems in the store and within the sales team.
• Assist the store manager with merchandising, implementing company programs, and other needs.
• Solve problems within the sales team and direct larger issues to the Store Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
