Job summary

Nordstrom Beauty Department is seeking a customer-friendly team member to engage clients, perform makeup applications and skincare analyses, and recommend products aligned with each customer’s goals. You will drive sales for in-store and digital channels, book appointments for beauty events, build customer loyalty, and stay current on trends through Nordstrom and brand trainings.

This role requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends and a passion for delivering personalized beauty

• Passion for customer service and beauty trends, including makeup application and skincare.

• Empathy and respect for all customers during makeup and skincare applications.

• Drive to achieve sales goals and willingness to network using technology.

Responsibilities

• Conduct makeup applications and skincare analyses and recommend products based on customer goals.
• Collaborate with team to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all customers.
• Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital selling using selling tools.
• Book appointments and drive sales for in-store beauty events and services.
• Keep department organized and customer-ready.
• Keep up with beauty trends and product knowledge through trainings from Nordstrom and brand partners.
• Manage sales, refunds, exchanges, and build customer loyalty by opening Nordstrom Rewards accounts.
