Job summary

Nemacolin seeks a Director of Banquets to lead banquet operations, drive guest experiences, and develop a high-performing team within a Forbes Four-Star/Five-Star luxury resort.

You will manage labor, scheduling, payroll accuracy, budgets, and operating expenses while aligning department performance with strategic goals. This role requires a proven leader with exceptional service standards and collaboration across resort leadership.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Hospitality Management or related field required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5–6 years of management experience within Food and Beverage operations; banquet leadership preferred.
• Experience in Forbes Four-Star/Five-Star or comparable luxury hospitality environment preferred.
• Proven guest service and guest relations in a high-service environment.
• Ability to coach, engage, and retain staff; strong leadership and development skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Fluent English communication; ability to work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Direct banquet operations, service execution, staffing, and financial performance.
• Develop high-performing teams through coaching, mentorship, and training.
• Manage labor, scheduling, payroll accuracy, budgets, and expenses.
• Collaborate with Banquets, Culinary, F&B, and resort leadership to ensure event success.
• Uphold Forbes/AAA luxury standards and ensure guest satisfaction.
• address guest concerns proactively and drive service recovery when needed.
