Job summary

Viceroy Hotels & Resorts seeks a dedicated Banquet Server for weddings, meetings, and special events at The Observatory Sun Valley. You will deliver high-level service, coordinate with culinary and banquet teams, and help ensure events run smoothly in a luxury setting.

The ideal candidate is guest-focused, team-oriented, and capable of maintaining presentation standards and operational efficiency during peak periods. Flexibility for evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Previous banquet, restaurant, hotel, resort, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Previous luxury hospitality or high-volume event experience preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

• Attend to guests with attentive, friendly, and courteous service.
• Set up banquet rooms according to BEOs, diagrams, timelines, and resort standards.
• Prepare tables, linens, place settings, décor, buffet displays, beverage stations, and setups prior to guest arrival.
• Ensure service stations and banquet areas are stocked, organized, and prepared before service periods.
• Review event details and timelines with banquet leadership prior to each event.
• Serve plated meals, buffets, and beverages according to established standards.
• Carry trays and deliver multiple items safely and professionally.
