Job summary

Viceroy Hotels is seeking a Banquet Server for The Observatory Sun Valley project in Sun Valley, Idaho. You will deliver exceptional food and beverage service for weddings, meetings, and special events in a luxury resort setting.

The ideal candidate is guest-focused, team-oriented, and able to excel in a fast-paced environment while maintaining presentation standards and operational efficiency across all banquets and events.

Qualifications

• Previous banquet, restaurant, hotel, resort, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume hospitality environment.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and guest service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setting up banquet rooms and event spaces according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), diagrams, timelines, and resort standards.
• Prepare tables, linens, place settings, décor, buffet displays, beverage stations, and operational setups prior to guest arrival.
• Serve plated meals, buffets, passed hors d’oeuvres, beverages, and banquet amenities according to established service standards.
• Carry trays and deliver multiple plates, beverages, and banquet items efficiently, safely, and professionally.
• Ensure banquet equipment, service items, furniture, and operational supplies are properly handled, stored, and maintained.
