Job summary

Viceroy Hotels & Resorts is opening a new luxury resort in Sun Valley, Idaho, and seeks a Banquet Manager to lead all banquet and event operations. You will manage weddings, corporate retreats, and multi‑day programs with a focus on exceptional guest experiences and operational excellence.

The role requires hands‑on leadership, strong communication, and the ability to train and supervise banquet captains, servers, and support staff in a fast‑paced luxury environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in banquet, event, or food & beverage leadership in luxury venues.
• Experience managing weddings, retreats, social events, and multi‑day programs.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; capable of coaching teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all banquet and event operations, including weddings and corporate events.
• Ensure seamless setup, service, breakdown, and post‑event execution.
• Lead pre‑shift meetings and briefings for service teams.
• Collaborate with Sales, Catering, Culinary, and F&B leadership to align on details.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and supervise banquet staff.
