Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa in San Diego, CA is seeking a Banquet Server to deliver exceptional service at events and catered functions. You will work at assigned stations, coordinate with the team, and ensure timely serving while maintaining guest comfort and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• One year of Banquet Server experience or equivalent training.
• Prior banquet or convention services experience at a comparable property desired.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to stand, walk for long periods and lift moderate weight.
• Willingness to work AM/PM, weekends and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Serve guests at assigned stations quickly, courteously, and efficiently.
• Set dining tables to established standards and remove non-conforming items.
• Assist other servers and complete side work as directed.
• Prepare coffee service per Banquet Event Order.
• Follow standard food handling, TIPS, sanitation, and health guidelines.
