The role requires overseeing event operations, staffing, inventory, scheduling, payroll, and coordinating with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction and seamless event execution at a luxury property in Pasadena.

Qualifications

• Prior banquet management experience.
• Must have open availability including early mornings, late nights, weekends and holidays.
• Exceptional customer service, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment and ability to multi-task and work under pressure while still being detail oriented and personable.
• Exceptional leadership qualities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee banquet operations from planning to post-event follow-up.
• Monitor daily operations and staff performance under Banquet Director.
• Lead banquet hourly staff—interview, train, schedule, evaluate, and discipline as needed.
• Coordinate with executive chefs, banquet captains, and catering managers to ensure service excellence.
• Adhere to catering SOPs, promote safety and energy conservation, and ensure flawless BEO execution.
