Job summary

The Carneros Inn, LLC welcomes a Banquet Manager to lead weddings, meetings, and special events at Carneros Resort and Spa. You will translate contracts and BEOs into flawless events, guiding the front-of-house and culinary teams to deliver Forbes-level service and seamless operations.

The ideal candidate combines hospitality leadership with detailed planning, team leadership, and strong collaboration with Sales, Culinary and Operations to ensure guest satisfaction and memorable experiences

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of banquet or event management experience in a luxury hotel or resort environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee setup, service, and breakdown of banquet and event functions according to BEOs and timelines.
• Act as on-site operational lead during events, ensuring service flow, staffing alignment, and guest satisfaction.
• Anticipate operational challenges and resolve issues in real time with professionalism and urgency.
• Ensure all event spaces are maintained to luxury standards before, during, and after events.
• Lead, supervise, and support banquet captains, servers, bartenders, and housepersons.
• Schedule staff based on event needs, forecasts, and labor targets.
• Provide coaching, direction, and performance feedback to ensure accountability and service consistency.
