Job summary

Village Cadillac Toyota, part of the Dimmitt Automotive Group, seeks an Automotive Service Advisor to act as the primary liaison between guests and technicians. You will listen to guest concerns, coordinate service/repairs, and set expectations for service delivery.

The role emphasizes excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving, with a focus on luxury-brand dealership standards and a friendly, professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 3-5 years of luxury brand dealership experience preferred.
• Broad scope of automotive mechanical/electrical knowledge.
• Pleasant/friendly demeanor and an outgoing personality.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress.
• Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record.
• Basic computer and internet skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedules service for guests either in person or on the phone to ensure a prompt and accurate diagnosis of any problems.
• Makes repair recommendations and manages delivery of repairs by setting and managing customer expectations.
• Ensures that required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards.
• Complies with and enforces all safety policies and procedures.
• Welcomes each guest with a prompt and enthusiastic greeting.
• Personally refers guests with complaints that cannot be satisfied at the service advisor level to the service manager.
