Job summary

Swickard Auto Group in Thousand Oaks is seeking qualified Sales Manager-caliber leaders to join our hospitality-first team. This general application targets openings across our Thousand Oaks dealerships, with an emphasis on leading high-performing sales consultants and delivering guest-first experiences.

You’ll coach, structure deals quickly and accurately, and partner with finance to ensure seamless handoffs.

Qualifications

• 2 years of Sales Manager or senior desk manager experience at a franchised dealership
• Luxury, import, or domestic brand experience welcome
• Demonstrates a hospitality mindset and strong work ethic
• Confident at the desk with quick, accurate deal structuring
• Strong CRM discipline and follow-up culture on the floor

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the sales team daily — coaching consultants, structured desking sessions, and driving production
• Desk deals with precision, urgency, and integrity — structuring deals that work for guest and business
• Manage floor coverage and guest experience from first contact through delivery
• Monitor performance against key metrics — units, gross per vehicle, closing ratio, lead response time, CRM compliance
• Partner with finance to ensure clean deal handoffs and a seamless guest experience
• Support inventory management in coordination with GSM — monitoring turn, aging, and lot activity
• Assist in recruiting and onboarding new sales consultants
• Resolve escalated guest concerns with composure and professionalism
