Job summary

Coastal Ridge Real Estate is seeking a Maintenance Technician for The Edison at Gordon Square, a luxury apartment community in Cleveland, OH. You will handle a broad set of maintenance tasks to keep residents safe, comfortable, and satisfied, including after-hours calls and on-call rotations.

You will work on unit turnovers, exterior and pool areas, and coordinate with the Property Manager to meet move-in deadlines and property goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required with HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliances experience preferred.
• EPA Type I/II certification preferred; may be required in some locations.
• Basic English communication skills to interact with residents and team members.
• Strong problem-solving and safe work practices in maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and thorough completion of resident service requests, including after-hours and emergency needs; participate in on-call rotation.
• Execute unit turnovers and make-readies for new residents to meet move-in deadlines with high-quality standards.
• Proactively maintain exterior and common areas for a clean and welcoming environment.
• Perform swimming pool maintenance and ensure health and safety standards are met where applicable.
• Identify and address maintenance issues to minimize disruptions and improve property efficiency.
• Adhere to OSHA standards and company safety policies; report hazards promptly.
• Utilize maintenance resources and inventory safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with maintenance team and other departments to meet property goals.
• Maintain a professional uniform and appearance at all times.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned by management.
