Job summary

Simpson Housing is a premier operator of luxury apartments, seeking a Maintenance Technician II for The Henslow Apartments & Townhomes in Charleston, SC. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, and structure, while delivering excellent service to residents and ensuring units are ready for occupancy.

Qualifications

1+ years of related general maintenance experience.
General knowledge and experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair and basic carpentry.
CPO certification required (can be obtained after hire).
Fair housing training required; CAMT certification preferred.
Some experience with MS Office Suite (Word and Outlook).
Strong customer service skills and on-call availability.

Responsibilities

Maintain and preserve a multi-million dollar luxury community and ensure a quality living experience for residents.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, sewer/water, pools and security systems.
Develop rapport with residents and address maintenance issues in a timely manner.
Assist service team in preparing vacant units per company specs.
Help maintain strong curb appeal at the property.
