Job summary

Saks Fifth Avenue, part of Exemplar Luxury Group, seeks an Alteration Staff to join the tailoring team in Troy, MI. You will provide exceptional customer service and expert alterations during fittings, ensuring top-quality results for luxury garments.

Requirements include at least 3 years of tailoring experience with knowledge of specialty skills (leather, knits, beading) and the ability to operate standard sewing and specialty machines. A high school diploma is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years fitting and tailoring experience in high-end merchandise.
• Ability to fit and perform alterations on a wide range of garments.
• Knowledge of luxury alterations fabrication and styling helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and tailoring expertise as required.
• Model Saks Fifth Avenue Customer Service Principles and uphold policies.
• Perform alterations decisions during fittings and maintain quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and support store initiatives.
• Assist with ad hoc responsibilities as needed.
