You will manage reservations via OpenTable, coordinate seating, and support staff to maintain service flow. A high school diploma and strong communication are required; candidates must be able to lift 35 pounds and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat customers at the host stand.
• Monitor server performance to ensure smooth service during dining.
• Observe proper telephone etiquette.
• Handle reservations through OpenTable (including VIPs) and inquiries about hours, specials, events.
• Organize reservations, maximize seating during operating hours, and optimize staffing and traffic.
• Adhere to accounting procedures for transactions and know the POS system.
• Maintain flow of service and proper seating.
• Participate in daily pre-shift meetings.
• May involve lifting tables, chairs, etc.
• Maintain cleanliness of menus and covers.
• Maintain hygiene standards and uniform appearance.
• Follow posted schedule and shift-change procedures.
