Job summary

Caesars Entertainment is seeking a Laundry Attendant at Harrah's Metropolis in Metropolis, IL. On-site role involves sorting, weighing, washing, and delivering clean laundry, with a focus on efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Proficient in English verbal and written.
• Proficient with iOS devices.
• Flexible to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to continuously lift and grab heavy/large amounts of laundry up to 50 pounds at a time.
• Must be able to push carts weighing up to 300 pounds.
• Must be able to tolerate high temperatures and high noise levels environment.

Responsibilities

• Sort and weigh dirty laundry from chute area for washing.
• Manually pull and sort laundry including bed sheets, pillowcases, bedspreads, and terry.
• Weigh carts with laundry on scale (about 225 lbs per load).
• Load washers and monitor cycle length and status.
• Unload finished laundry and place into carts for sorting.
• Assist room attendants with laundry including stripping beds.
• Meet attendance guidelines and follow policies.
