Caesars Entertainment in Metropolis, IL is seeking a Laundry Attendant to sort, weigh and process dirty laundry from the chute area, operate washers and dryers, and maintain accurate log data.

You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, push carts up to 300 pounds, and work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays; benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Proficient in English verbal and written.
• Proficient with iOS devices.
• Flexible to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to continuously lift and grab heavy/large amounts of laundry up to 50 pounds at a time.
• Must be able to push carts weighing up to 300 pounds.
• Must be able to tolerate high temperatures and high noise levels environment.
• Must work well with others and present a neat appearance.

Responsibilities

• Sort and weigh dirty laundry from chute area for cleaning.
• Operate washers and dryers and log cycle data.
• Push and maneuver carts, weigh loads, and load machines.
• Assist room attendants with laundry needs and bed linens.
