Yacht Starship in Tampa, FL seeks a part-time Deckhand to join our luxury dining vessel. Maintain deck areas, assist with guest boarding, and support safety procedures while delivering a high-end guest experience for up to 150 guests. Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid state ID.
• Professional appearance and demeanor for high-end guest experience.
• Prior experience in deckhand duties, maritime safety, or hospitality preferred.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and maritime regulations.
• Excellent communication and guest-centric interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Valid maritime or safety certifications are a plus.
• Must pass a drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Maintain deck areas and exterior spaces to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Assist with waste management, cleaning, and basic maintenance tasks to ensure vessel safety and aesthetics.
• Operate and maintain deck equipment in accordance with safety procedures and regulations.
• Capture boarding photos as guests arrive and sell photos after. Compensation includes an hourly pay rate plus commission and tips on photos sold.
• Provide courteous and professional assistance to passengers during boarding, disembarking, and throughout their experience.
• Support the crew in safety drills and emergency procedures as required.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest service.
