Job summary

Compass Group USA’s Spectrum Center venue is hiring a Luxury Chef Table Attendant. You will support daily service, assist set-up and breakdown of the club space, and work closely with the supervisor to meet guest expectations.

The role emphasizes menu knowledge, guest interaction, safety, and teamwork. Physical stamina is required to stand long shifts and lift up to 50 lbs; prior food service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates complete understanding of menu items and ingredients.
• Communicates with supervisor and back-of-house staff to ensure correct preparation and accommodate special requests.
• Shows strong communication and teamwork with guests and staff.
• Promotes a clean, safe and neat environment for guests.
• Maintains confidentiality regarding guest information.
• Addresses guest concerns promptly and relays to supervisor.
• Ensures proper setup and post-service cleanup, maintaining sanitation standards.
• Operates a variety of equipment, speed racks, hot boxes, service carts, flatbed cart.
• Works with staff of other departments to perform job duties during special events and functions.
• Stands for long periods and engages physically with guests.
• Stands, walks, bends, and crouches as required.
• Reacts with alertness in emergency situations.
• Maintains stamina to be mobile throughout the day.
• Lifts/moves materials and equipment up to 50lbs.
• Moves from sitting to standing position easily and quickly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates complete understanding of menu items and ingredients.
• Communicates directly with supervisor and back-of-the-house staff to ensure that menu items are prepared correctly and special requests are accommodated.
• Exhibits exceptional communications skills and demonstrates ability to get along well with others. Remains flexible and patient when communicating with guests and staff.
• Promotes a clean, safe and neat environment for guests.
• Maintains a high level of sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information that is shared.
• Promptly addresses complaints or issues; relays relevant information or complaints directly to supervisor.
• Ensures that the club space is properly set up prior to and after the service period; keeps area clean and neat while meeting established sanitation standards.
• Operates a variety of equipment, speed racks, hot boxes, service carts, flatbed cart.
• Works with staff of other departments to perform job duties during special events and functions.
• Stand for long period of time and be able to actively engage physically with guests.
• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• React with physical and mental alertness in emergency situations.
• Demonstrate physical stamina/agility required to be mobile for long periods throughout the day.
• Lift/move materials and equipment up to 50lbs.
• Move from sitting to standing position easily and quickly.
