Fairmont Orchid on Hawai‘i Island seeks an attentive Hostperson for Orchid Court Breakfast to deliver unique dining experiences in a luxury, upscale, fast-paced setting, greeting guests with warmth and providing detailed service.

You will maintain knowledge of F&B offerings, assist with opening and closing duties, upsell menu items, ensure timely service, and uphold HACCP safety standards while embodying the hotel’s aloha spirit and commitment to guest delight.

Qualifications

• Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in English.
• Ability to speak other languages is a plus.
• Ability to work in a luxury, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
• State and Federal requirements for Food & Beverage work.
• Tuberculosis clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide unique dining experiences with warm, detailed service.
• Ensure a positive first impression through cleanliness and ambiance.
• Maintain knowledge of F&B services, outlets and hotel features.
• Upsell and promote food and beverage offers.
• Serve orders promptly and remember guest preferences.

• Assist other outlets during peak times.
