Job summary

Sorrel River Ranch Resort & Spa in Moab, Utah seeks a warm, confident bartender to deliver thoughtful beverage service and welcome guests with genuine hospitality.

You’ll manage bar setup, maintain knowledge of wine, spirits, and cocktails, and collaborate with the restaurant team to provide a polished, guest-focused experience. Must be 21+, with luxury-service experience and TOAST POS familiarity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Experience in hotel/restaurant or luxury-service settings is preferred.
• Food Handler certification required.
• Alcohol Awareness certification required.
• Familiarity with TOAST POS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, welcoming experience for every guest.
• Greet guests promptly and provide friendly, attentive service.
• Set up the bar daily, stock and prepare garnishes and supplies.
• Prepare juices, syrups, and ingredients for cocktails.
• Mix and present cocktails and beverages consistently and beautifully.
• Maintain knowledge of the bar menu, wines, spirits, beers, and ingredients.
• Enter orders and charges accurately through TOAST POS.
• Support restaurant team with service and guest needs as required.
• Keep the bar clean, organized, and guest-ready throughout shift.
• Follow all alcohol-service requirements and responsible practices.
• Complete end-of-shift closing duties and secure equipment.
