Job summary

Penn Medicine, a leading academic medical center in Philadelphia, seeks a Clinical Services Associate to support physicians and the practice manager in delivering high-quality patient care. The role blends clinical tasks (MA) with front-office duties to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient operations.

You will perform patient intake, EMR documentation, minor procedures support, and coordination of referrals, tests, and appointments, while maintaining infection control and patient safety

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required)
• CMA or RMA (Required)
• MA Certification (required within 90 days of hire)
• Epic Certifications (Required)
• Must successfully complete EPIC scheduling training/tests

Responsibilities

• Assist practice manager and physicians in maintaining patient focus
• Support delivery of high quality care and patient satisfaction targets
• Perform clinical duties as Medical Assistant and Patient Services Associate
• Schedule patient appointments and manage check-out procedures
• Handle clerical tasks such as intake forms, test results and referrals
• Coordinate telephonic patient care and care coordination with specialists and labs
• Maintain infection control standards and ensure patient care areas are organized

Education

H.S. Diploma/GED

MA program completion or equivalent

Penn Medicine Approved Program completion
