Job summary

Penn Medicine's Lung Center is seeking a Clinical Services Coordinator/Medical Assistant to support managers and physicians, maintain patient focus, and help meet care, satisfaction, and operational targets. You will room patients, take vitals, perform tests, and help manage daily scheduling.

The role requires EMR expertise, effective communication between staff and leadership, and ability to handle emergencies.

Qualifications

• Must have HS Diploma/GED and 3+ years medical office experience.
• Certified Medical Assistant or completion of an MA program required within 90 days of hire.
• Experience with EMR and patient workflow is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist manager/physicians to maintain patient focus and high-quality care.
• Room patients, obtain vitals, perform tests and prepare for visits.
• Oversee daily schedule and operations of assigned area; may perform PSA duties.
