Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to join the lung transplant team. This 40-hour/week, day shift role supports inpatient care for complex transplant patients, working closely with transplant pulmonologists to manage pre- and post-transplant care including immunosuppression and respiratory therapy.

Ideal candidates include Acute Care NP or PA-C with Ohio licensure eligibility and transplant ICU experience.

Qualifications

• Active AprN/PA license in Ohio or eligible for licensure.
• Experience in ICU, transplant, or hospitalist settings preferred.
• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program graduate with qualifying certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and perioperative care for lung transplant patients in collaboration with transplant physicians.
• Manage immunosuppression protocols and immunology-related care.
• Educate patients and families; coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
