Job summary

FirstHealth's Centralized Nurse and Lung Bus Navigator is a registered nurse who guides patients through the lung screening process, supports mobile clinics, and coordinates care across referrals and follow-ups. This RN navigator position requires NC RN licensure, BLS, and a willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved School of Nursing with a current North Carolina RN license or RN multi-state licensure via the NLC.
• BLS certification is required.
• Valid NC Driver's License with good driving record is required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a clinical resource in the lung cancer screening program and educate patients on eligibility, procedures, results, and follow-up.
• Coordinate care across the screening continuum including referrals and scheduling.
• Travel throughout the service area to support mobile clinics and community events.
• Build relationships with physicians, practices, and community partners to promote screening.
• Assist in tracking program outcomes and quality metrics.
