Job summary

Merck & Co. is seeking a senior professional to lead Outcomes Research strategy for a Lung Cancer program, shaping value evidence for in-line and pipeline products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to drive study design, data synthesis, and health economics outputs.

Responsibilities include developing dossiers for payers, managing budgets and vendor relationships, and communicating findings to stakeholders. Oncology experience preferred; PhD encouraged.

Qualifications

• Advanced or professional degree in a relevant discipline such as Outcomes Research, Health Economics, Epidemiology, Pharmaceutical Administration, Public Health, Health Policy, Medicine, or Clinical Pharmacy.
• 4+ years post-doctoral degree experience or 7+ years post-master's degree experience in life sciences conducting non-interventional research and generating value evidence.
• Oncology experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead Outcomes Research strategy for a Lung Cancer program and contribute to value evidence activities.
• Obtain senior management approval of value evidence generation plans and provide leadership on cross-functional teams.
• Assess drivers and barriers to reimbursement and market access with internal teams.
• Design non-interventional and data synthesis studies, author protocols, develop questionnaires, CRFs, analysis plans, and manuscripts.
• Manage study contracting, budgets, and vendor/partner relationships.
• Develop American and Global Value Dossiers and supplementary clinical data packages for HTA submissions.
• Support country affiliates to tailor evidence generation and health economic evaluations to local requirements.
• Communicate outcomes research and health economic modelling data to internal and external stakeholders.
• Stay updated on methodological developments and build relationships with scientific experts.
• Present data at conferences and publish in journals.
