Job summary

Cooley Early Childhood Development Center in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a Part-Time Lunch Aide to support the Higley Unified School District. You will supervise students in the cafeteria and on the playground, assist with lunch duties, and help direct students to the playground after lunch.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to manage groups of students, and a valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Qualifications

Capable of overseeing students in groups.
Effective communicator with students, staff and teachers and work cooperatively.
Ability to pass background and reference checking as stipulated by District standards.
Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Responsibilities

Support HUSD Vision, Mission and Goals.
Supervises students on the playground and in the cafeteria.
Sets up cafeteria, wipes tables, and cleans up spills on tables and floors.
Supervises students in the lunch line.
May supervise students in lunch detention.
Assists students during lunch and helps direct students to playground after lunch period.
Picks up trash from tables and off floor.
Wipes tables and seats between lunch periods.

Performs other duties as assigned.
