Job summary

Queen Creek Unified School District seeks a Child Nutrition Manager to oversee kitchen operations, ensure quality meals, and promote teamwork across the district’s cafeterias. The role focuses on HACCP compliance, safety, and efficient production in a school setting.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, coordinating meal production, and maintaining records to meet NSLP & NSBP guidelines. 35 hours/week, non-exempt, on-site schedule.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Current Food Managers Certificate required.
• 1–2 years in large-scale food prep; school cafeteria experience preferred.
• Knowledge of HACCP and safety requirements.
• Ability to organize and direct the work of others.
• Experience with kitchen equipment operation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure quality meals.
• Train and supervise helpers at multiple locations or one location.
• Maintain HACCP temperature logs and production records.
• Coordinate daily cleaning and food orders.
• Monitor staff schedules and labor hours within budget.
