Sudbury Public Schools’ Gen. John Nixon Elementary School in Sudbury, MA is seeking a Lunchroom Supervisor (0.333 FTE) to monitor the daily routines in the lunchroom and on the playground.

Lunchroom Supervisor - Nixon

The role of the Lunchroom/Recess Supervisor is to monitor the daily routines of students both in the lunch setting and/or on the playground.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily routines of the cafeteria and/or playground;
• Responsible for the maintenance of playground equipment;
• Notify teachers/administration of any challenging behaviors of students;
• Supports the social/emotional needs of students and behavior plans;
• Assist students with basic needs during lunchroom duties such as cutting food, opening packages and cleaning up spills;
• Take children to the restroom or school nurse as needed;
• Answer questions from students and staff;

Classification: ESPAS Level 4 Unit Position
