Job summary

Kraft Heinz is hiring a Machine Operator to support the Lunchables production line at the Avon, NY plant. You will operate, monitor, and troubleshoot packaging equipment to ensure safety, quality, and product integrity.

This full-time role requires flexibility for overtime and weekend shifts, with standing for long periods and ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Training and overtime apply as needed to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills and basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production and packaging equipment.
• Perform equipment startups, shutdowns, adjustments, and changeovers.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and take corrective action as needed.
• Verify product quality, component placement, package integrity, product weights, and coding accuracy.
• Complete production documentation, material verification, and downtime tracking.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Communicate equipment performance and operational issues with team members and leadership.
• Train and assist employees as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
