Job summary

Kraft Heinz is seeking a Machine Operator for the Oscar Mayer Lunchables line in Avon, NY. You will operate, monitor, adjust, and troubleshoot processing and packaging equipment to meet safety, quality, and production standards.

The role requires strong communication, basic computer skills, and the ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays. Certifications for equipment operation and safety are obtainable as part of the job."

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication skills and basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Ability to obtain required operational and safety certifications.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production and packaging equipment.
• Perform equipment startups, shutdowns, adjustments, and changeovers.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and take corrective action as needed.
• Verify product quality, component placement, package integrity, product weights, and coding accuracy.
• Complete production documentation, material verification, and downtime tracking.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Communicate equipment performance and operational issues with team members and leadership.
• Train and assist employees as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
