Job summary

Kraft Heinz is seeking a Machine Operator to join the Lunchables production team at the Avon, NY facility. You will operate, monitor, adjust, and troubleshoot processing and packaging equipment to ensure safety, quality, and production standards are met.

The role requires the ability to work overtime and weekends, with a union environment under Teamsters Local 118. Training and certifications will be provided as needed to maintain equipment and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication skills and basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to obtain required operational and safety certifications.
• Previous manufacturing, food manufacturing, or machine operation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production and packaging equipment.
• Perform equipment startups, shutdowns, adjustments, and changeovers.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and take corrective action as needed.
• Verify product quality, component placement, package integrity, product weights, and coding accuracy.
• Complete production documentation, material verification, and downtime tracking.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Communicate equipment performance and operational issues with team members and leadership.
• Train and assist employees as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
