Job Description

The Kraft Heinz Company is currently seeking a Placer to work at our food processing facility in Avon, NY. Successful candidates must be willing to supply improvement suggestions and ideas to help continue the success of our facility. Ideal individuals must be safety and quality‑oriented and demonstrate adaptability and willingness to work in a team‑oriented, fast‑paced work environment. This position requires individuals to perform general production duties in a food manufacturing environment following strict quality and safety standards.

Role & Responsibilities

A production worker in the Lunchables Department will be responsible for the total assembly of the Lunchables products. This involves placing package components into specified tray compartments, grading for quality defects, and keeping a clean workstation, which includes removing re‑work and trash from the area.

Physical Demands

• Standing up to 12 hours a day.
• Lifting, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs., including overhead work.
• Repetitive motion with hands.
• Kneeling.
• Twisting.
• Squatting.
• Climbing stairs.
• Working in hot and cold environments (Lunchables 40°F, Cool Whip 90°F / -35°F, Cold Storage 0°F).
• Working in loud environments over 85 decibels.

Sanitation

Will ensure that the equipment and machinery they work with is cleaned and sanitized according to the Kraft Heinz Sanitation Program rules explained at the beginning of employment and during refresher sessions.

Quality Assurance

Ensures all products manufactured align with the Quality Assurance Program and policies reviewed during the on‑the‑job training applicable to this specific operation function.

Safety

Will follow the Kraft Heinz Safety Process and keep themselves and others away from harm while performing their duties. They will adhere to LOTO policy and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

• Able to work on weekends, holidays, and commit to mandated overtime.
• A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent experience or GED.
• Must have strong communication skills.
