Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a Lunar Manufacturing Vehicle Manager to oversee integration, build, and delivery of an end item or major assembly. You will translate Master Production Schedule plans into actionable schedules, align engineering, operations, and support functions, and lead risk-based decisions to ensure vehicle readiness and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline.
7+ years in manufacturing engineering, integration, or production operations in aerospace/defense.
Experience developing and managing detailed production or integration schedules.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and specs.
Proven ability to identify and drive resolution of technical and programmatic risks.
Strong cross-functional communication and influence without direct authority.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and track a rolling 2-week tactical schedule for vehicle integration.
Lead recurring 2-week plan review meetings with stakeholders.
Track and report schedule variance; present status for weekly reviews and leadership forums.
Serve as SME on build sequence, constraints, and schedule risk; ensure optimal sequence.
Identify and mitigate issues threatening on-time delivery; make priority calls with the Manager.
Coordinate with Shift Leaders and Managers to resolve issues; escalate conflicts as needed.
Maintain current situational awareness of parts, orders, and dependencies for delivery.
