Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a Manufacturing, Ops & Assembly Manager to lead the Assembly & Integration team at Lunar Plant 1. This role requires delivering operational excellence in complex space vehicle manufacturing, guiding technicians, and partnering with engineering, quality and supply chain to optimize workflows and integration processes.

The position offers a weekday schedule (Mon-Fri 7am-4:30pm), relocation assistance, and a fast-paced environment focused on safety, quality, and scale-up

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years of manufacturing operations experience with at least 5 years in people management.
• Experience leading complex production operations in high-consequence environments.
• Proven ability to manage a production schedule and drive daily execution.
• Cross-functional collaboration with engineering, quality and supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Lead and optimize assembly and integration operations for efficiency, precision, and quality.
• Develop and execute integration plans and schedules to meet milestones.
• Mentor teams and foster teamwork, transparency, and information sharing.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality and supply chain to resolve challenges.
• Drive continuous improvement of processes, tooling, and metrics.
• Monitor performance and report to senior management with clear rationale.
• Ensure safety, regulatory, and company standards are met and address issues.
• Manage budget and resource allocation for assembly activities.
• Support new product introductions and program scale-up.
• Evaluate inputs and program criteria for informed decisions.
