Job summary

Blue Origin on Merritt Island, FL is seeking a Fluids Test Engineer for the MK1 Integration and Test team to support the Lunar Permanence program. The role focuses on planning, executing, and interpreting tests for lunar vehicle fluid and thermal systems, ensuring high quality data and safety during development and operations.

You will develop test plans, lead test operations, review test results, and collaborate with design and systems engineers to validate requirements for current and next‑gen

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal, written, and graphical communication skills.
• Experience and drive to work collaboratively in a fast paced, dynamic work environment.
• Understanding of P&ID’s, pressure systems, and associated GSE.
• Ability to develop test Plans and procedures for vehicle development.

Responsibilities

• Develop test plans and procedures for vehicle level development and qualification testing.
• Lead daily test operations, operate test consoles, direct technician work, and coordinate with internal and external customers.
• Plan tests of vehicle fluid and thermal systems to verify requirements.
• Design, procure, and install test support equipment; manage vendors and subcontractors.
• Troubleshoot issues that arise during testing; archive and analyze data.
