Job summary

Voyager Space in Pittsburgh is seeking a Procurement Engineer for Lunar Systems to lead sourcing of flight grade components and ground support equipment. The role reports to the Director of Supply Chain and is based in a hybrid Pittsburgh office.

You will negotiate favorable terms, perform source selections, and ensure requirements are prioritized and met, while coordinating with engineering and internal customers for risk mitigation and supplier qualification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electromechanical/aerospace or related field with 5+ years in supply chain.
• Or an associate degree with 7+ years in supply chain.
• Demonstrated negotiation experience with terms, value, and schedule.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing goods and services for Voyager Lunar Systems including avionics and ground support equipment.
• Negotiate terms, price, and delivery with suppliers with management support.
• Perform source selection based on best value criteria.
• Prioritize program requirements and communicate with internal teams.
• Interpret engineering data to guide supplier discussions.
• Coordinate with engineering for critical component sourcing and mitigations.
• Oversee supplier qualification and performance monitoring.
