Job summary

Voyager Technologies is seeking a Procurement Engineer for Lunar Systems, reporting to the Director of Supply Chain in Pittsburgh, PA. The role focuses on sourcing flight-grade components, negotiating favorable terms, and maintaining supplier relationships for space systems.

You will work in a hybrid Pittsburgh-based environment, evaluating supplier qualifications and ensuring alignment with FARs and NASA requirements, while managing program needs and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with 5+ years in supply chain, or associate degree with 7+ years in supply chain.
• Proven negotiation experience in terms and conditions, best value analysis, supplier management, or similar.
• Strong written and verbal communication, able to persuade and present complex ideas.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with procurement software and ERP systems.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing goods and services including avionics, mechanical and electronic components, and ground support equipment.
• Negotiate terms, price, and schedule with suppliers with management support.
• Perform source selection based on value criteria.
• Ensure program requirements are prioritized and executed.
• Interpret engineering data to communicate with internal teams and suppliers.
• Coordinate with Engineering to identify sourcing and alternate parts.
