Job summary

Voyager Technologies is seeking a Procurement Engineer for Lunar Systems to manage sourcing of flight-grade and engineering components, ground support equipment, and related services. You will lead negotiations, supplier qualification, and source selections to secure best-value terms for our aerospace programs.

Based in Pittsburgh and reporting to the Director of Supply Chain, this hybrid role collaborates with Engineering Design and internal customers to interpret specifications, develop

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electromechanical/mechanical/aerospace/industrial engineering, or related discipline with 5+ years of supply chain experience, or an Associate degree with 7+ years in supply chain.
• Negotiation skills demonstrated in terms and conditions, best-value analysis, supplier management, or similar activities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to articulate complex ideas and persuade.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Experience with procurement software and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform sourcing for goods and services including aerospace components, ground support equipment, and tooling.
• Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, price, and schedule.
• Perform source selections based on best-value criteria.
• Ensure program requirements are prioritized and met.
• Interpret engineering data to facilitate communication with suppliers.
• Collaborate with Engineering Design to identify sourcing options and alternatives.
• Maintain coordination with internal customers to manage supply chain risks and mitigate issues.
• Conduct supplier quality activities and ongoing performance oversight.
