Job summary

Amentum Space Exploration Division (ASED) seeks experienced drafting professionals to support Lunar Lander spacecraft and related hardware for Artemis. The role focuses on mechanical component design, spacecraft structures, fluids, electrical harnesses, and system integration.

Collaboration with NASA and vendors is essential. Candidates should have strong drafting experience, proficiency in Creo/Pro-EngineER and Windchill, and the ability to meet tight schedules.

Qualifications

• High School diploma (associate’s degree preferred).
• Approximately 5-30 years of drafting experience.
• Proficiency in Creo/Pro-Engineer 3-D modeling and 2-D drafting.
• Proficiency utilizing Windchill.

Responsibilities

• Generate engineering documentation/models/drawings for mechanical component design, spacecraft structures design, fluid system design, electrical harness design, and system integration/assembly.
• Support aggressive schedules to meet deliverable due dates; overtime may be required.
• Develop models and drawings to support hardware manufacturing and assembly; collaborate with vendors and NASA personnel.
• Deliver reports and presentations to MSFC and Amentum management as needed.
• Positions will be on-site, with possible remote opportunities.
