Job summary

Barrios Technology seeks a Structures and Mechanisms Engineer, HLS, to join the JETSII contract. You will perform risk-based structural reviews and coordinate with NASA GFP teams to ensure readiness for lunar lander hardware.

The role requires deep expertise in CAD/FEA tools (Creo, FEMAP, NX, NASTRAN) and strong communication to document results and support milestone readiness evaluations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and 15 years of related experience.
• Experience in designing, analyzing, or building structural or mechanical systems in aerospace environments.
• Familiarity with NASA/DoD/ASME/AIAA design and construction standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform risk-based structural insight reviews of deliverables such as design data books, stress analyses, and test results.
• Conduct requirements traceability between HLS structural requirements and verification events.
• Review qualification/test plans and structural verification datasets for human-rated lunar lander hardware.
