Job summary

Blue Origin in Colorado is seeking engineers to own requirements decomposition for a clearly scoped area of the System Definition & Certification team. You will produce verification and validation products and contribute to system safety analyses, communicating risks and design changes.

This role requires a BS in aerospace or related field, 2–5 years in a technical role, and experience with Jama/DOORS. Relocation provided; travel up to 10% to support cross-site and partner coordination.

Qualifications

• BS in aerospace, systems, or related engineering; advanced degree may substitute for part of the experience.
• 2–5 years in an engineering/technical role with systems-level problem solving.
• Demonstrated ability to own a clearly scoped requirements/verification effort.

Responsibilities

• Own requirements decomposition, allocation, and traceability for a clearly scoped area of the system.
• Produce verification & validation products, including requirements, methods, procedures, and closure evidence.
• Contribute to system safety analyses and disposition variances against team standards.
• Identify and communicate technical risks and design changes needed to close them.
• Develop technical plans for your scope and support project planning.
