Blue Origin in Colorado is seeking an HLS Software Systems Engineer II for the Lunar Permanence program to shape software across lunar programs. You will collaborate with flight software, systems, and test engineers to define requirements and verification plans, contributing to safe, repeatable spaceflight.

The role emphasizes leadership, technical excellence, and a commitment to quality in a safety-critical, collaborative environment, helping reduce cost of access to space.

Qualifikationen

• B.S. degree in computer science, computer engineering, aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years professional experience.
• Experience with C/C++ or Python scripting.

Aufgaben

• Develop test cases and scripts against software requirements.
• Independently write and maintain software requirements, verification plans, and test cases for owned scope.
• Participate in fault management discussions and begin contributing to FMEA-driven requirements for assigned subsystems.
• Support HIL/SIL test setup and execution; begin authoring test procedures independently.
• Work directly with flight software, systems, and test engineers to develop software verification test plans.
