Job summary

Blue Origin seeks a spacecraft GN&C systems engineer to derive requirements, perform analyses, and maintain subsystem budgets for the GN&C suite. You will work with simulations, hardware-in-the-loop labs, and vehicle teams to ensure safety, reliability, and performance in a spaceflight context.

The role involves developing and integrating models in Simulink and C/C++ for multi-vehicle simulations, with emphasis on verification and tool development for our unique simulation infrastructure.

Qualifications

• BS in aerospace, mechanical, electrical or systems eng.
• MS/PhD preferred with GN&C requirements analysis experience.
• Experience modeling GN&C components via simulation or testing.
• Understands GN&C-vehicle sizing and automation relationships.
• Knowledge of control, navigation, astrodynamics fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Support subsystem requirements derivation and trade studies.
• Develop simulations/tools to verify subsystem functions.
• Collaborate to define subsystem interfaces and boundaries.
• Contribute to development of state-of-the-art simulation infrastructure.
• Integrate multidisciplinary models for multi-vehicle simulations.
