Job summary

HPM Building Supply in Kamuela, Hawaii is hiring a full-time Lumberyard Specialist to ensure customers get the materials they need. You will be the first to respond when an order is placed and set the tone for the customer experience in our outdoor warehouse.

Ideal candidates have knowledge of building materials and basic computer skills, with the ability to lift 50 lbs. Forklift certification is preferred, and prior cash-handling or customer service experience is highly valued.

Job description

The expected pay range for a Lumberyard Specialist in Kamuela is $20.35 to $24.35 per hour.

HPM Building Supply in Kamuela, Hawaii is seeking to hire a full-time Lumberyard Specialist to save the day by ensuring our customers get the materials they need. The Lumberyard Specialist is the first to respond when an order is placed and sets the tone for our customers' experience with us. We work with people who live and breathe building materials, so we need someone ready to be the hero they need!

Currently this location is open Monday-Friday from 6:00 am and 6:00 pm and Saturdays from 7:00 am to 4 pm and the schedule will include Saturdays. If this sounds like the opportunity for you.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge of building materials and lumber is desired
• Basic computer skills
• Forklift certification or ability to be forklift certified
• Previous customer service and cash-handling experience is highly preferred
• Ability to work in our outdoor warehouse in various weather conditions
• Ability to lift 50 lbs with or without a reasonable accommodation
