HPM Building Supply in Kamuela, Hawaii is hiring a full-time Lumberyard Specialist. You will be the first to respond when an order is placed and set the tone for our customers' experience with us.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of building materials and lumber.
• Basic computer skills.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain.
• Previous customer service and cash-handling experience.
• Ability to work in outdoor warehouse in various weather conditions.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Be the first to respond when an order is placed and set the tone for the customer experience.
• Ensure customers get the materials they need.
• Provide friendly, efficient service in a fast-paced environment.
• Assist with loading/unloading and street-to-aisle organization.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of outdoor warehouse area.

Job description

The expected pay range for a Lumberyard Specialist in Kamuela is $20.35 to $24.35 per hour. HPM Building Supply in Kamuela, Hawaii is seeking to hire a full-time Lumberyard Specialist to save the day by ensuring our customers get the materials they need. The Lumberyard Specialist is the first to respond when an order is placed and sets the tone for our customers' experience with us. We work with people who live and breathe building materials, so we need someone ready to be the hero they need!

Currently this location is open Monday-Friday from 6:00 am until 6:00 pm and Saturdays from 7:00 am to 4 pm. The schedule will include Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of building materials and lumber is desired
• Basic computer skills
• Forklift certification or ability to be forklift certified
• Previous customer service and cash-handling experience is highly preferred
• Ability to work in our outdoor warehouse in various weather conditions
• Ability to lift 50 lbs with or without a reasonable accommodation
